Implementation of a Distributed Process Engine on constraint devices on the example of Esprimo-based microcontrollers
This thesis explored and evaluated the possibilities of integrating constrained IoT devices / micro controllers into a process execution environments. In particular, it was investigated how a process engine can be installed/executed on strongly limited micro controllers and what consequences this has for the development of a process engine.
Another aspect of this thesis was the investigation, how different communication standards (e.g., Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi, etc.) can be used in the given process engine.
