Master Thesis: Efficient Content Dissemination for Information Research Projects

Efficient Content Dissemination for Information Research Projects

The primary purpose of this thesis is to design a content dissemination guideline for the efficient distribution and promotion of research results. Additionally, its focus extends on the appropriate persistent storage of digital information and concepts. Therefore, the methodologies of the Design Science in Information Systems Research Framework by Alan et al. [3] are applied. The overall objective aims outline the impact of a valuable research dissemination process. Therefore, an extensive analysis of common approaches and strategies is conducted. Typical concepts and concerns are identified in the current research progress. This analysis is extended by presenting a new defined dissemination guideline. It shows that the complexity and heterogeneity of the dissemination progress can be handled and reduced by following common concepts. In addition, two compact concepts enhancing the dissemination have been implemented. This concept includes the new designed software dependency validator and dissemination tool-kit based on current results of the analysis and identification of common concepts. Finally, the thesis provides an evaluation that takes the findings of the previous chapters into account. The thesis will prove that the defined assumptions are applicable and paves the way for successful valuable dissemination of research results.
