A Scalable Context-aware Middleware for Multi-user Location-Based Services
Description: In recent years location-aware
and context-aware applications have developed in a variety of fields
from personal assistant services, in smart homes and in location-based
mobile gaming just to name few. This thesis presents a model for
context-aware applications which was designed to be flexible in
regards to the type of context-sources and its evaluation. The model
is geared towards multi-user applications and supports temporal
sequences of contexts. A design for a scalable middleware architecture
evaluating the models is presented and evaluated.
