This paper deals with the integration of eID authentication in customer-to-customer data sharing frameworks, which in this case are represented by the Entrance framework. This authentication technology was introduced by German authorities in connection with the rollout if the New Identity Card and has a promising set a features for this specific use case. In the course of this work, it is assessed whether the application of eID authentication is an advantageous extension to the Entrance framework. Therefore on the one hand it will be examined in terms of relevant capabilities like provided degree of security or usability. On the other hand, its integration is prototypical performed in order to canvass the solutions performance in a practical implementation.
