Kai Grunert received his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering [3] at the Technische Universität Berlin [4] in May 2014. During his studies, he worked at Toll Collect GmbH [5] as a software engineer and architect. He was responsible for creating an automation system for test cases to verify the functionality of On-Board Units. Prior to that, he finished the integrated degree program Communication Systems [6] at the Beuth Hochschule für Technik Berlin [7]. In the practical phases he developed access control systems for Idencom GmbH [8].

In December 2014, he joined the Telekom Innovation Laboratories as a research scientist in Prof. Axel Küpper’s group Service-centric Networking [9].
