Kai Grunert received his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering at the Technische Universität Berlin in May 2014. During his studies, he worked at Toll Collect GmbH as a software engineer and architect. He was responsible for creating an automation system for test cases to verify the functionality of On-Board Units. Prior to that, he finished the integrated degree program Communication Systems at the Beuth Hochschule für Technik Berlin. In the practical phases he developed access control systems for Idencom GmbH.

In December 2014, he joined the Telekom Innovation Laboratories as a research scientist in Prof. Axel Küpper’s group Service-centric Networking.
