Bersant Deva, M.Sc.

Lupe [1]

Bersant received his Master's degree in Computer Engineering at the Technische Universität Berlin. During his graduate studies, he focused on Systems Analysis, Internet and Mobile Services. He worked as a student research assistant at the Service-centric Networking [2] chair where he was involved in projects of the Telekom Innovation Laboratories [3] as well as the Communicate Green [4] project. His Master thesis introduced a distributed location-dependent messaging system.

In March 2013, he joined the Telekom Innovation Laboratories [5] as a research scientist in the strategic research area of Service-centric Networking [6] led by Prof. Dr. Axel Küpper [7]. During his research he worked in many research projects, among them FlashPoll [8],  Indoor Analytics [9] and Street Smart Retail [10].

 

Bersant was also selected as a participant for Software Campus [11] and is in charge of the STEAM [12] project which has the objective to enable new kinds of services that rely on spatio-temporal data mining and big data technologies. 

Bersant's research is focused in the fields of Ubiquitous Computing [13] and Data Science [14].
