Bersant Deva, M.Sc.


Bersant received his Master's degree in Computer Engineering at the Technische Universität Berlin. During his graduate studies, he focused on Systems Analysis, Internet and Mobile Services. He worked as a student research assistant at the Service-centric Networking chair where he was involved in projects of the Telekom Innovation Laboratories as well as the Communicate Green project. His Master thesis introduced a distributed location-dependent messaging system.

In March 2013, he joined the Telekom Innovation Laboratories as a research scientist in the strategic research area of Service-centric Networking led by Prof. Dr. Axel Küpper. During his research he worked in many research projects, among them FlashPoll,  Indoor Analytics and Street Smart Retail.

Bersant was also selected as a participant for Software Campus and is in charge of the STEAM project which has the objective to enable new kinds of services that rely on spatio-temporal data mining and big data technologies. 

Bersant's research is focused in the fields of Ubiquitous Computing and Data Science.
