The research project STEAM enables the combination of spatio-temporal Data Mining methods and Big Data technologies to support the development of next-generation Location-based Services. A key objective of STEAM is to provide a platform which allows the applicable analysis of movement. The platform allows the input of heterogeneous data streams and enables the computation of advanced spatio-temporal insights.
