Introductory Seminar
An Introductory seminar for newly enrolled foreign students will take place from 4 until 5 October 2018.
International Students invites all newly enrolled foreign students to a two-day introductory seminar. Working in small groups from the same degree program and supervised by students with several years' experience of studying at the University, newly enrolled students can find out about the structure and most important challenges of their degree programs, as well as visit a number of the University's facilities.
When: 4.10., 11:00 – 17:00, 5.10. from 10:00 onwards

First Semester Day
All new students are warmly invited to attend First Semester Day, TU Berlin's central event for welcoming new students. The academic world is not only about acquiring knowledge; there is also a lot of practical information awaiting you. Academic Advising will be on hand in the Audi-max to provide newly enrolled students with tips and tricks for making a successful start to their studies. New students will not only be introduced to friends and helpers, they will also have the chance to see the library, project workshops and many of the other interesting features TU Berlin has to offer. In addition to the program in the Audimax, there will also be an info market to be held in the foyer area outside the Audimax and in the 'Blue Foyer'. The ever-popular street food vans will also be making their appearance on the forecourt. All members of TU Berlin staff are also warmly invited to the street food market.

Academic Introductory Events
The program of introductory events marks the official start of a degree program at TU Berlin. It provides students with the opportunity to get to know their most important contact persons, as well as the people they will be studying with. The comprehensive program of events provides guidance as to how the University and degree programs function. The individual program for each degree deals with all important details, such as preparing timetables, Campus IT and making contacts.
