SNET takes part in this year's "Software Campus" initiative

SNET is proud to announce that our researcher Abdulbaki Uzun has been chosen as a participant of this year's Software Campus initiative!

Software Campus trains the IT leaders of tomorrow. It is aimed at excellent Master's and PhD students of information technology and young professionals from other disciplines with the relevant IT knowledge.

In close collaboration with strong partners from industry and research, Software Campus participants develop innovative academic IT projects and benefit from an individually tailored training curriculum with outstanding academics and managers. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) provides funding of up to EUR 100,000 for each IT project.

Software Campus integrates leading research and practical experience in a new type of concept in order to create a new generation of top managers and entrepreneurs with an excellent IT background. (© Software Campus)

IT Project - Context Data Cloud

The accepted IT project of Abdulbaki is the Context Data Cloud, which is a cloud platform based on the semantic principles of Linked Data for managing and providing context-aware services. The system avoids the problems classic context managament frameworks have and ties context providers, consumers as well as context-aware service developers to a cloud ecosystem.
