M.Sc. Mohamed Salem
Mohamed Salem was born in 1988 in Cairo, Egypt. He received his Bachelor of Science in Information Engineering and Technology, majoring in Communications Engineering, from the German University in Cairo (GUC) in 2009. Mr. Salem has then completed his Master’s of Science at Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, in Digital Communications, in 2011. His Bachelor and Master’s theses have been carried out at the Telekom Innovation Laboratories departments of Internet Network Architectures and Assessment of IP-based Applications respectively during which he was involved in wireless communications networking and Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) projects. During the period of his studies, Mr. Salem has been interned twice at the Deutsche Telekom AG, as well as held various student research assistant positions at the Telekom Innovation Laboratories.
In January 2012, Mohamed Salem has joined the Telekom Innovation Laboratories as a Scientific Research Engineer in the strategic research area Service-centric Networking led by Prof. Dr. Axel Küpper.
